A car is a four-wheeled vehicle designed for passenger transportation and commonly used with an internal-combustion engine using a volatile fuel.
On January 29, 1886, Carl Benz asked for a patent for his new invention, the vehicle. In July 1886, the newspapers reported the first public outing of the three-wheeled Benz Patent Motor Car.
Steam and Electricity Power Cars from the 1700s to the 1890s where cars were powered by steam. Next is the Gas-Powered Cars from the 1890s to present which is obviously where gas cars started to be made. Around the 1930s, people started to add vehicle features such as seatbelts, speedometers, and rearview mirrors. Finally, as of now modern day features have now been added to cars such as GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth, and advanced safety features. Hopefully in the future we can further our knowledge.
